Rangers are interested in signing Arsenal’s ace, and Philippe…

Reuell Walters, the departing defender for Arsenal, is reportedly keen to sign with Rangers this summer.

The 19-year-old turned down a new contract offer from the Emirates, thus his time there is up. He is expected to depart. Walters has spent a lot of time on Mikel Arteta’s bench, but he hasn’t made his debut.

He wants to play football for the first team, so he’ll keep looking for it.

The Scotsman claims that the Ibrox team wants to entice the quick defender north. The Gers’ interest in him comes as Philippe Clement is in the midst of a major rebuilding project. He can play right back and center back.

While many of the team’s defenders, including captain James Tavernier and Connor Goldson, had been linked to transfers elsewhere, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Borna Barisic, Kemar Roofe, and Jon McLaughlin were announced to be leaving over the weekend.

He has family ties to Germany and England, so Rangers will probably have competition for his signature from those countries. It is thought that Sheffield United made an attempt to take him on loan last season. Whoever wins the race for the player will have to pay Arsenal for training.

Oleksandr Zinchenko publicly shouted Walters’ praises as he just waved goodbye to the Gunners, receiving well wishes from Declan Rice and William Saliba.

He declared: “I adore center-back Reuell.” I believe that one of his traits is aggression.

“He once shoved Gabriel Jesus shoulder to shoulder, I swear to God.

Gabriel is quite strong, making it difficult to push him. Afterwards, he was confident with the ball, held it well, and passed. Whoa. I believe that he is the most impressive.
