Four Lads respond to the Rangers’ announcement of their second…

Four Lads Had A Dream responded after Rangers announced Oscar Cortes’ loan signing in advance of the 2024–2025 season.

The 20-year-old winger has rejoined the Gers on a season-long loan,

with an option to buy at the conclusion of play, the club confirmed.

Although the team feels they have seen enough of Cortes already,

the player only made seven appearances in front of the Ibrox crowd before sustaining an injury that has kept him out of the lineup since February.

Following the news on Monday, June 3, Four Lads posted on X,

writing: “Oscar Cortes completes his move to Rangers.” With a clapping emoji,

I’m looking forward to seeing a lot more of him.

Oscar Cortes is once again a Rangers loanee from Lens.

Given that Cortes has made seven appearances for the Gers and has already contributed one goal and two assists,

it seems sense that the team is eager to keep him on board.

With players like Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack, and John Lundstram all departing,

Rangers are expected to undergo a significant rebuild this summer. Jefte has already been signed as a full-back replacement.

The 20-year-old from Fluminense was always going to be the primary transfer choice this season because the club wanted Jefte during the January transfer window but was unable to get his signature.

With Ross McCausland being the only other natural winger on the club,

Rabbi Matondo’s injury history, and Abdallah Sima’s future in doubt,

the Brazilian will provide some backup at left-back. Cortes, on the other hand, will be a much-needed reinforcement on the wings.
